About Us

We met over twelve years ago in the emergency room of the hospital that todd managed.

JD came in complaining of chest pains after final exams from his first year of law school. We had our first date a week later and have been inseparable (and without chest pains) ever since. Today, Todd is a hospital director - managing a hospital less than ten minutes from our house. JD still has the better commute though, managing his law practice most days from the guest house of our home.

Home Sweet Home

Speaking of our home, we live in sunny Palm Beach County, Florida.

We are less than five minutes from the beach, where we love to spend most of our time. Although we're in a "bigger city", the community we live in has a real small town vibe. Our dog, Henri, really loves spending afternoons playing in the parks and recreational areas that surround the community and can't wait to share those afternoons with our son or daughter someday soon.

Fun Facts About Us

We both have big families including five nieces, four nephews and one more nephew on the way. Our nieces and nephews are super excited to have a new cousin to join them at the kid's table.

We love traveling , whether it be Christmas in the mountains with our family (a tradition that goes back to JD's childhood), birthdays at Disney World or summers in Europe. On our free time, we loving hanging out with our friends and family by the pool, watching the game on a Sunday afternoon, cooking and just having a good time. If Todd gets behind the piano, you know the night will end with everyone singing "Piano Man" together. We can't wait to share these experiences, and learn new ones, with our son or daughter.
